As a Senior Java Application Developer*, you will join an experienced, challenging, motivated, and international engineering team that aims to build the best POS application for our customers.

What you will do...

• You understand that a business app is not a "classic agency app" and is much more complex and demanding to handle. You will be part of our experienced team! 
• As a Senior Engineer you are one of the technical drivers of our development team
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Contribute to our multi-platform Java App that runs on our own custom Hardware as well as on Android Devices and Desktop systems using a shared in-house UI library that is optimized for business applications.
• Participate actively in technological discussions and presentations with fellow engineers inside and outside your team 
• Take end-to-end ownership of your solutions & decisions from design and release to operating your services
• Together with the team you select the appropriate technologies to design and implement a sustainable software architecture 
• You will work with
  • Java
  • GitLab, CI/CD 
  • Project Management: JIRA, Confluence, G-Suite

What you need...

• Demonstrated experience in desktop application or mobile app development
• You identify as a coach, facilitator, and team player
• Experienced software engineer background, with a focus on high-performance business applications and/or in an embedded environment
• Lead with a strong hands-on attitude & mindset with a passion for your work
• You understand the principle that removing code is more valuable than writing code
