In the role of Head of Sales*, you will play a pivotal role in crafting an exceptional customer experience tailored to the needs of our clients in the hospitality, retail, and service sectors. Your primary objective will be to leverage the strengths of our already outstanding core team and serve as the vital link between division management and your team, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of goals.
Your Tasks
- You will take ownership of shaping the sales department's strategy, collaborating closely with the CEO to ensure effective implementation.
- You will play a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining our Salesforce CRM system, ensuring optimal functionality and alignment with organizational goals.
- You will be responsible for leading our sales team (8 employees), providing guidance and direction to foster a cohesive and high-performing unit.
- You will cultivate a dynamic, structured, and motivated sales team through consistent coaching, training initiatives, identification of skills gaps, and delivering timely feedback.
- You will drive the recruitment process for new team members, coordinating and communicating throughout the selection process, taking charge of onboarding, and conducting internal training sessions.
- You will perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
- You will monitor campaign development against KPIs and key metrics, compile reports and share them with management.
Your Profile
- You possess several years of extensive sales expertise within the IT sector.
- You demonstrate a track record of successfully formulating and executing sales strategies resulting in increase of sales revenue.
- You have at least 2 years of relevant experience in the comprehensive management of sales teams.
- You exhibit natural leadership skills, showcasing an ability to mentor, coach, and motivate team members effectively.
- You are IT-savvy and proficient in working with Salesforce, coupled with the capability to enhance and sustain its functionality.
- You possess a very analytical and data-driven mindset to continuously optimize your team’s approach.
- You demonstrate exceptional communication and assertiveness skills.
- You possess expertise in lead generation, brand establishment, and fostering meaningful customer engagement.
- You have a proven track record of operating in a goal- and solution-oriented manner, using effective and profit-oriented approaches.
- You are proficient in both German and English, ensuring business-fluent communication.
